Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role manages project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, quality, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Projects include healthcare, K-12, and higher education facilities.

Key Responsibilities & Measures of Success
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Manage multiple commercial construction projects from planning through closeout.
  • Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
  • Preconstruction: Participate in preconstruction activities for Construction Management and Design-Build projects.
  • Field & Team Coordination: Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain project progress.
  • Quality & Cost Control: Monitor project quality, costs, and timelines while reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project teams while maintaining strong long-term relationships.
  • Risk & Issue Mitigation: Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues promptly.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Sector Focus: Experience with healthcare, K-12, or higher education construction projects preferred.
  • Project Delivery: Knowledge of Construction Management-at-Risk (CMaR) project delivery is a plus.

  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
