Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Project Manager / Architect / Engineer I (R0038) in Capital Design and Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering all aspects of a construction project from conception until final completion. This includes the selection of a design firm and overseeing the design process to ensure the project design meets the end user"s and other University department requirements, budget and schedule constraints, and code requirements; coordinating the project design and construction with multiple Commonwealth agencies and local utility providers; assisting the Materiel Management department with solicitation of construction bids; overseeing the construction process to ensure construction meets the requirements of construction documents and projects are completed on schedule.
This position is located in Farmville, Virginia, and is required to work in person on Longwood University"s campus.

This is a full-time, restricted-classified, exempt position in pay band 5. This is a restricted-classified position, which means the position will be available only as long as funding is available. The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually. A successful fingerprint-based criminal background investigation is required.
