A leading New York State energy and sustainability organization is seeking a Project Manager to support implementation and oversight of federally funded home energy modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will provide project management, data analysis, reporting, compliance review, and internal auditing support associated with federal program requirements.
This role will work with multiple data sources and internal stakeholders to ensure program documentation, reporting, and implementation activities are accurate, timely, and aligned with applicable policies and federal requirements.
Support monthly and quarterly federal program reporting, including reporting associated with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Review program documentation and records for compliance with organizational policies and applicable federal requirements.
Pull, organize, validate, and analyze records from multiple systems and data sources.
Support federal-level reporting and internal auditing activities.
Assist with invoice processing and related documentation review.
Analyze program data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop clear, accurate reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with program implementation staff to evaluate program performance and outcomes.
Maintain organized project documentation and ensure reporting deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Support other projects and responsibilities that contribute to the objectives of the home energy modernization program.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Approximately 3–6 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in project management, program administration, data analysis, reporting, grants administration, or a related field.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience working with spreadsheets and analyzing data to develop reports and evaluate program performance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or compliance issues in documentation and data.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Experience with federal or state grant administration.
Experience with federal reporting requirements, compliance, or internal auditing.
Working knowledge of Salesforce or another customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
Experience working with large or complex datasets.
Experience supporting government, energy, environmental, housing, or public-sector programs.
Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau.

Experience in government programs, grant administration, federal reporting, auditing, energy programs, or data-driven program management will be particularly valuable.
This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located in or near the Albany, New York area. The contractor is expected to have reliable high-speed internet and access to a laptop and mobile phone, either personally or through their staffing vendor.
