Project Manager- AI & HR (Remote)

This role will define AI requirements, design end-to-end processes, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and ensure solutions are tested, production-ready, and continuously improved. Coordinate across HR/business stakeholders, AI/ML, cloud, cybersecurity/privacy, delivery teams, and external partners.

Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for an AI/HR Project Manager in a remote capacity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Position Overview
We are seeking an AI/HR Project Manager to translate HR business needs into AI-enabled solutions. This role will define AI requirements, design end-to-end processes, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and ensure solutions are tested, production-ready, and continuously improved.
Responsibilities

• Translate HR business needs into AI use cases, problem statements, user scenarios, and success criteria.
• Define end-to-end process flows, user journeys, system interactions, decision logic, and exception handling.
• Define AI requirements including intents, inputs, responses, decision logic, and fallback scenarios.
• Assess solution feasibility, architecture impact, integrations, data dependencies, and technical constraints.
• Coordinate architecture governance, delivery planning, dependencies, milestones, and release schedules.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, defect triage, release readiness, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Provide clear status reporting on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate across HR/business stakeholders, AI/ML, cloud, cybersecurity/privacy, delivery teams, and external partners.
• Support production validation, knowledge transfer, transition to support, and continuous improvement. 

Qualifications

• Experience working with AI, chatbots, conversational AI, or generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT.
• Experience with HR processes and HR ERP systems, preferably Workday
• Strong experience with UAT, defect management, release management, and Agile delivery.
• Experience working in regulated environments with cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance teams.
• Strong business analysis, process design, delivery coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with production validation, KT, and transition planning
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
