Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM,


Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing IT projects to ensure successful delivery of business solutions within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
    This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership, providing oversight of project activities while managing project risks, issues, communications, and deliverables. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management experience, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex technology initiatives.
    Key responsibilities include planning, managing, and overseeing IT projects and project teams; developing project schedules, budgets, status reports, and resource plans; facilitating communication between stakeholders, technical staff, and vendors; monitoring project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies; leading project meetings and providing regular status updates; managing scope changes and ensuring adherence to project governance standards; coordinating vendor activities and tracking deliverables; and ensuring projects align with business objectives and organizational priorities.
    The contractor will use an Agile systems development methodology to develop product and system specifications and deliver a quality product to end users in a timely manner, and will utilize various methods to prioritize projects. The Project Manager will be required to comply with the THECB project management process and THECB data security policy.
