We are seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to provide oversight and leadership in the successful execution of nuclear plant projects. The role requires strong field experience in nuclear environments, with a focus on managing supplemental personnel, reviewing technical deliverables, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Field Oversight: Supervise and provide direction to supplemental personnel working on-site, ensuring compliance with plant safety and operational standards.
Work Product Review: Review technical and administrative deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and plant procedures.
Schedule & Budget Tracking: Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets; track milestones, variances, and provide regular reporting to management.
Coordination & Interface: Collaborate and coordinate with plant departments, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to support seamless project implementation.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to nuclear safety standards, site procedures, and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture across project activities.
Experience:
8–10 years of project management experience, with direct nuclear power plant experience required.
Demonstrated success in managing field oversight and cross-department coordination.
Certifications:
Task Manager Qualification (required).
Clearance and Tagging Qualification (required).
Systems Knowledge (preferred):
ESOMS (Electronic Shift Operations Management System)
MAXIMO (Work Management System)
PDMS (Plant Data Management System)
P6 Primavera Scheduling Software
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to facilitate communication across multiple stakeholders.
Proficient in identifying risks, troubleshooting issues, and developing corrective action plans.
Effective decision-making skills, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
Primarily based at the nuclear plant site.
Mix of field oversight and office-based administrative tasks.
Must be available for in-field oversight and coordination activities on a regular basis.
