Project Manager | $250M Commercial Builder

With several projects already awarded, the goal is to keep workloads manageable and project teams properly staffed, not wait until people are overloaded. You'll lead projects across healthcare, higher education, multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, and commercial construction while working for a contractor that values planning, repeat business, and long-term relationships over constantly chasing the next job.

Client Details

Our client is a privately held construction manager and general contractor generating roughly $250M annually with about 90 employees between Ohio and Pennsylvania. They sit in a unique spot in the market: large enough to win sophisticated, technically challenging projects but small enough that leadership remains accessible and decisions don't require five levels of approval.

The company has built its reputation through repeat clients, measured growth, and long-term relationships. Leadership intentionally avoids taking on more work than the team can properly support. For Project Managers, that means better staffing, realistic workloads, and a company that thinks years ahead instead of quarter to quarter.

Description

* Take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budget management, scheduling, client communication, and overall project execution

* Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure field operations, subcontractor performance, and project milestones stay on track

* Lead buyout activities, contract administration, change management, forecasting, and cost control throughout the life of the project

* Work directly with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to solve issues before they become problems

* Play an active role during preconstruction by reviewing logistics, constructability, budgeting, procurement strategy, and project planning

Profile

A successful Project Manager should have:

* Project Management experience with a commercial General Contractor

* Experience delivering healthcare, higher education, multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, institutional, or senior living projects

* Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, buyout, contracts, and subcontractor management

* Stable career history with a reputation for being collaborative and dependable

Job Offer

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 + Profit Sharing
