POSITION OVERVIEW
As a
Project Manager 1, Mission Critical, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Lead project safety initiatives and promote an injury-free work environment.
- Manage project prestart and support preconstruction activities.
- Lead quantity takeoffs, trade coordination, scope development, bid packages, and schedule development.
- Manage subcontractor buyout, pricing, scope verification, and subcontract issuance.
- Manage submittal schedules and coordinate project priorities.
- Coordinate subcontractors, owners, field teams, design teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage change requests, pricing, schedule impacts, and approvals.
- Lead project reviews, progress meetings, and OAC meetings.
- Manage subcontractor and owner pay applications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules with the Project Superintendent.
- Monitor materials, labor, procurement, and potential schedule impacts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate
Project Manager who enjoys their work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Project Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of construction management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction management processes and project execution.
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, owners, and design teams.
- Strong project scheduling and planning experience.
- Experience with project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and profitability.
- Advanced proficiency in project management and accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency with construction technology and scheduling software.
