What you'll do at DBH:
The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Project Manager 1 to support projects that strengthen services across the agency's medical and forensic programs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating complex initiatives, building relationships with internal and external partners, and improving processes that support statewide behavioral health operations.
This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of 15 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
Position Qualifications
Successful completion of 2 yrs. post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
