Standard Job Description
Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Insures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated, self starting "go getter" to support the execution of the portfolio growth plan, inclusive of 1LMX and transformation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong program management or systems engineering experience in fast paced environments and be ready to work on site in Colorado Springs.

Our programs include: Command and Control, Battle Management, & Communications (C2BMC), Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS), Modeling and Simulation Framework (MASC-F), the Systems Engineering & Integration Team (SE&IT).
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Program Manager and Business Development lead to transform the MDS portfolio from a people‑driven into an AI‑enabled delivery framework business, raising margins, accelerating innovation, and delivering sustained profitability for LM.
Coordinate across the program and functional teams to finalize the MDS portfolio strategies and transformation roadmap, including executing the plan to ensure near-term milestones are met.
Establish metrics to track and understand the progress from the transformation activities across all programs
