    Job Title: Project Management Lead
    Location: Columbia, SC
    Job Type: Contract
    Duration: 12 Months
    Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Project Management Lead to oversee multiple IT projects, coordinate project planning and resources, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery of project objectives.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.

    • 3+ years of project management experience.

    • 3+ years of project management experience in a healthcare insurance information technology environment.

    • Experience with project planning, technical effort estimation, and resource allocation.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead project planning and execution activities.

    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.

    • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.

    • Coordinate project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

    • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

    • Prepare project status reports and management updates.

    • Assist with business requirements development.

    • Maintain project management artifacts and metrics.

    • Coordinate with internal and external organizations.

    • Manage multiple high-priority projects and competing priorities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, and Excel.

    • Experience managing project risks and mitigation strategies.

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

    • Experience with Medicaid or healthcare delivery systems preferred.

    • PMP certification preferred.

    Required Certifications

    • None required. Recognized technical or project management certifications are desirable.
