Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Analyst Lead (PMA) to support electrical engineering and product development programs within a fast-paced automotive environment. This role will be responsible for coordinating engineering deliverables, managing change control activities, supporting program milestones, and driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product launches. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting automotive product development programs, engineering releases, and managing complex project activities across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional coordination of engineering change requests and design changes, ensuring timely approvals and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support program management activities throughout the product development lifecycle, tracking deliverables against critical milestones and launch targets.
  • Monitor engineering development status, design maturity, testing progress, supplier readiness, and build timing requirements.
  • Drive on-time release of electrical components, wire harnesses, modules, and related engineering documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and program leadership to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Review and manage change control processes, ensuring proper sign-offs and documentation are completed.
  • Track engineering concerns, alerts, release status, and open actions through applicable engineering systems and databases.
  • Support vehicle launch activities, production readiness reviews, and issue resolution efforts for program execution.
  • Coordinate quality, testing, validation, and compliance deliverables to support program milestones.
  • Lead meetings focused on open issues, release readiness, part shortages, engineering sign-offs, and project deliverables.
  • Support supplier sourcing activities and cross-functional project planning efforts.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and status updates for management and program stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to project support teams and collaborate with leadership in a matrixed organization.
  • Identify project risks, timing concerns, and execution challenges, developing mitigation plans to support launch success.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of automotive industry experience supporting product development, program management, engineering operations, or project management activities.
  • Experience supporting new vehicle launches and cross-functional automotive programs.
  • Strong understanding of automotive product development processes and milestone-based program execution.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, competing priorities, and compressed program timelines.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering teams, suppliers, manufacturing organizations, and leadership.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience coordinating engineering changes, release activities, and project deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting electrical engineering, vehicle electronics, wiring harnesses, ECUs, or electrical systems programs.
  • Knowledge of automotive engineering tools and processes related to BOM management, change control, engineering sign-off, validation, and launch execution.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Teamcenter, WERS, AIMS, FEDE BOM, DVP, GPIRs, DFMEA, FMA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience supporting compliance, validation, and quality tracking activities.
  • Previous experience leading project management analysts or coordinating PMO support functions.
