Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Lead to support the execution of avionics engineering programs involving either Software (SW) or FPGA development. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has demonstrated leadership capabilities and is looking to transition into a formal management role.
This position will focus on team coordination, project execution, status reporting, customer interaction, and overall project visibility. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and engineering teams, with mentorship and training provided as needed.
Location: The role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or remote.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
7+ years of industry experience.
3+ years of demonstrated team mentorship or supervising in an engineering environment.
Strong understanding of:
Earned Value Management (EVM)
Agile/Scrum
Agile/Scrum Master expectations
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams with minimal technical and managerial support.
Experience coordinating full-lifecycle engineering teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
U.S. citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
Able to travel approximately four to six weeks in a year.
