Project IT Manager I with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay:$40.00 - $50.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:- The Project Manager position will function as an agilest and will be managing a JIRA Kanban board for an agile team of telecom delivery controls engineers.
- They will arrange schedules, priorities, metrics, conduct stand ups, retrospectives, ensure status updates, and regulate flow of work within the agile team;
- Works closely with a the team's product owner for work intake, prioritization, and implementation:
- Facilitates work pickup and schedule adherence;
- Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate setups;
- Confers with management to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods;
- Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise planning personnel of delays;
Qualifications:- Experience working in an Agile Environment and understand the goals and objectives of the methodology
- Experience as a team agilest working with Jira is preferred.
- Experience in the Telecommunication industry is preferred.
