Project Industrial Engineer
Position Summary Responsible for production layout planning, capacity management, and project optimization supporting new product introductions, facility expansions, and operational efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize production line and facility layouts to improve workflow, space utilization, and efficiency.
Support plant expansion and facility development projects, including project tracking and implementation.
Coordinate layout changes and facility improvements with cross-functional teams.
Conduct capacity assessments, analyze production demand, and monitor capacity utilization.
Prepare capacity analysis reports and support internal and customer capacity planning meetings.
Use data analysis and operations research to identify opportunities for productivity, efficiency, and cost improvements.
Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on capacity, cost, quality, and operational performance.
Maintain capacity and production data within manufacturing systems.
Coordinate project activities and communicate progress with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of capacity planning and analysis.
Advanced AutoCAD skills.
Experience with facility and production layout planning.
Project management and data analysis experience.
Knowledge of operations research, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Strong cross-functional communication and project coordination skills.
Experience with Anaplan or other manufacturing/ERP systems is a plus.
Strong reporting and customer communication skills.
