Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support daily warehouse, production, and procurement operations. This role is responsible for coordinating material purchases, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and ensuring materials meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of materials based on purchasing and production plans.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely transport materials throughout the facility.
• Coordinate the distribution of materials to production departments according to manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material status updates using ERP systems and related software.
• Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and order updates.
• Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory control processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in materials coordination, inventory control, manufacturing
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift; forklift certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
