As the Company executes its explora on drill program(s) and 86,500 tonne bulk sample program we are seeking a highly organized and movated geologist to support our growing team. Posion Summary The Project Geologist or Senior Project Geologist will play a lead role in the execu on of diamond drilling programs for resource delinea on and expansion. The role is a full- me, permanent posion and will report directly to the Vice President of Explora on. The exploraon oce and core logging facility are located in Timmins, Ontario. The work schedule is 5 days on, 2 days o. The Company will also consider rota onal arrangements. Key Responsibili es Assist with coordina on and execu on of drilling programs, including supervision of drill crews and core logging/cu ng personnel Liaising and coordina ng with construc on managers and contractors engaged with surface development programs onsite Some core logging, oversight of QA/QC protocols and liaising with analy cal laboratories Monitoring drill hole progress and downhole surveys for devia on and intercept spacing Assistance with hole planning and crea on of drill hole layouts Assistance with analy cal studies and 3D modelling to complement Feasibility Studies Coordinaon of drilling and geotechnical data transfer to master database Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance, including monitoring contractors' work in sensi ve areas Qualicaons The skills required for this posi on are generally in -line with candidates having 5+ years of industry experience, including: Bachelor's degree in Geology Prociency with core logging, geotechnical logging, sampling and QA/QC procedures Ability to visualize and interpret geologic data in 2D and 3D Excellent communica on and organiza onal skills involving mul disciplinary personnel Prociency with Microso Oce and core logging so ware Exposure to and ap tude with GIS, database and 3D so ware Experience with and/or interest in underground drilling and produc on programs Eligibility to work in Canada and register with PGO Valid driver's license What We Oer Compeve compensa on commensurate with experience of CAD $105,000 to CAD $150 ,000 (equivalent daily/ hourly rates for contract posi on) Health Benets package Stable, 5-day a week work schedule Opportunity to work within a growing explora on and development company in both surface and underground environments Exposure to a dynamic mining project in the Timmins camp Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover le er outlining relevant experience to careers@galleongold.com .
