Our client is a top ranked GC in commercial construction company providing construction and renovation services to the commercial office, education, health care, retail/restaurant, and specialty markets. They have a strong reputation in Atlanta for their successful interiors projects and are shifting the business to picking up ground up projects as well.
Project Leadership: Lead and manage the planning, execution, and successful completion of healthcare construction projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and design teams, ensuring open communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Oversight: Oversee project timelines, budgets, scope, and quality, ensuring all deliverables meet industry standards and regulations specific to healthcare construction.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction to ensure high-quality work and strong project performance.
Risk Management: Identify and address any project risks, proactively implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays or cost overruns.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare facility-specific codes and guidelines (e.g., Joint Commission standards, HIPAA, etc.).
Budget & Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, review cost reports, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints while meeting client expectations.
Construction Scheduling: Oversee the project schedule, ensuring that all critical deadlines are met and appropriate resources are allocated effectively.
Quality Control: Enforce rigorous quality control procedures and ensure that all project deliverables are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Subcontractor Management: Manage the selection, negotiation, and coordination of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and timelines.
Reporting & Documentation: Regularly report project progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, maintaining comprehensive project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

Experience: 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a significant focus on healthcare construction projects. 2-3 years minimum of leadership experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED certification (preferred but not required).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare-specific construction requirements, codes, and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ADA, FGI Guidelines, Joint Commission standards).
