A premier and rapidly growing commercial general contractor is seeking an accomplished Project Executive to join its Columbus leadership team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior construction professional who is ready to take ownership of major, high-profile projects, lead high-performing teams, build lasting client relationships, and have a meaningful impact on the company's continued growth.

You'll work alongside an experienced executive leadership team with the resources, technology, and project pipeline necessary to deliver some of the region's most significant construction projects.

YOUR IMPACT

As Project Executive, you will provide senior-level oversight and strategic leadership from preconstruction through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight of major commercial construction projects.
  • Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and project support teams.
  • Establish project strategy, execution plans, budgets, schedules, and performance objectives.
  • Maintain accountability for profitability, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop strong executive-level relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Review project financials, forecasts, contracts, change orders, and monthly reporting.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor negotiations, project buyout, and contract administration.
  • Participate in preconstruction planning and project pursuits.
  • Support business development and help secure repeat and negotiated work.
  • Participate in owner and executive-level presentations.
  • Establish accountability and performance standards across project teams.
  • Develop future leaders and strengthen the company's construction management talent.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Previous experience as a Project Executive, Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent
  • Proven success leading large-scale commercial projects
  • Experience overseeing projects valued at $50M+
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, financial management, scheduling, procurement, and risk
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple project teams and senior-level personnel
  • Exceptional client relationship and communication skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, CMiC, Sage, or similar platforms preferred

LUCRATIVE COMPENSATION & BENEFITS$185,000 – $240,000+ BASE SALARY

Exceptional candidates with significant project leadership experience may be considered above the stated range.
