Project Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Prepare and review complex engineering designs, calculations, and technical documents for large or multi-project programs.

• Research and recommend equipment, materials, and technical solutions.

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality standards across disciplines.

• Lead design and production teams, ensuring coordination and accountability throughout execution.

Client Engagement

• Understand and address client priorities and project drivers.

• Communicate project progress and resolve concerns in collaboration with clients.

• Support business development efforts and pursuit strategies.

• Manage project scope changes with client input under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Technical Leadership

• Direct multi-discipline teams to meet technical and project deliverables.

• Provide specialized input on complex water and wastewater treatment projects.

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve project objectives.

Team Management

• Review and guide the work of junior engineers.

• Mentor and support professional growth and performance of assigned staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Experience in engineering consulting.

• Proven record in managing multidisciplinary water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades or expansions.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited institution.

• Overall 10-12 Years of Experience and minimum of 5 years of project Management relevant professional experience.

• Ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including background check, drug screening, and driving record verification.

Work Environment

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after an initial onboarding period.

• Extended periods of computer and desk work required.

• Proficiency in video and audio conferencing tools for collaboration.

• Occasional travel to client or project sites.
