Project Engineer

Kforce has a client in Warren, MI that is seeking a Project Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Interface Control Design (ICD) strategy and ICD templates
• Develop & Maintain commodity specific documentation
• Generate and Maintain Global subsystem/component technical specifications templates (SSTS/CTS)
• Lead resolution of technical issues
• "Close the Loop" on learnings by updating required information (Best Practices, Specifications, Statement of Requirements, Template, etc.) and document progress in Problem Resolution Tracking System
• Work cross-functionally within company, coordinating multiple suppliers
• Lead/manage supplier resident engineers
• Support sourcing activities
• Generate technical solutions for current, new and major programs
• Perform complex design analysis
• Initiate documents to provide engineering authority and to maintain math/CAD data
• Work with engineering functions, suppliers, plant personnel and others to implement cost reduction, methods and product improvements, and to support build programs
