    Project Engineer – Heavy Civil / Horizontal Directional Drilling

    Location: Houston, TX and willing to travel within the USA

    Help Deliver a Landmark Underground Pipeline Project

    We're looking for a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of a major trenchless pipeline installation project. Working closely with Project Managers and field leadership, you'll help coordinate engineering, construction activities, scheduling, documentation, and project controls throughout the lifecycle of this multi-year infrastructure project.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical engineering and construction execution.

    What You'll Do

    • Support day-to-day management of a major HDD pipeline project.
    • Coordinate engineering documents, RFIs, submittals, and technical reviews.
    • Track project schedules, budgets, and production progress.
    • Assist with procurement of materials and equipment.
    • Work closely with field personnel to resolve technical issues.
    • Review drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
    • Prepare progress reports and project documentation.
    • Participate in planning meetings and project coordination.
    • Assist with quality assurance and safety initiatives.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or related discipline.
    • 2–6 years of construction or infrastructure project experience.
    • Experience supporting heavy civil, utility, marine, pipeline, or industrial construction projects.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; scheduling software experience is a plus.
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Willingness to work on-site in the Miami area.
