    We are partnering with an innovative modular construction company that designs, engineers, and manufactures steel-frame modular buildings and custom container-based structures for commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, energy, and specialty applications. The organization provides end-to-end project delivery, including design, engineering, permitting, fabrication, quality control, and installation.

    Position Summary

    The Project Engineer will support the design, development, and execution of modular building projects from concept through fabrication and installation. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, architecture, project management, manufacturing, and construction, to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

    The ideal candidate is technically capable, highly collaborative, solution-oriented, and excited by the challenge of bringing innovative structures to life.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the engineering and design of modular and steel-frame construction projects.
    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, fabricators, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and project documentation.
    • Assist with code compliance, engineering reviews, and technical problem-solving.
    • Coordinate engineering deliverables to support fabrication and construction schedules.
    • Identify and resolve design challenges while maintaining quality and project objectives.
    • Participate in project planning, execution, and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Support commissioning, installation, and project closeout activities as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and P.E. required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in one of the following disciplines:
      • Structural Engineering
      • Mechanical Engineering
      • Electrical Engineering
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
    • Experience in construction, manufacturing, modular construction, steel structures, or related industries is a plus.
