Project Engineer

Volt is immediately hiring a Direct HireProject Engineer Land Development in Santa Clarita CA.As a Project Engineer you will Lead the engineering design and execution of land development and civil infrastructure projects. Develop project work plans schedules budgets and technical deliverables. Oversee project progress and coordinate activities to ensure quality budget and schedule objectives are met. Prepare and review engineering plans specifications calculations and supporting documents. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers designers and CAD drafters. Collaborate with clients contractors and public agencies throughout the project lifecycle. Perform QAQC reviews to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with project requirements. Evaluate technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions for complex projects.This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 6 years of civil engineering experience with a PE license or 10 years of relevant civil engineering design experience. Strong knowledge of land development and site design including grading drainage utilities roadways and stormwater systems. Experience managing project budgets schedules and technical deliverables. Proficiency with AutoCAD MicroStation or similar CADD platforms. Strong understanding of hydrology and hydraulic analysis principles. Experience reviewing engineering plans and performing QAQC processes. Excellent leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills & Qualifications Professional Engineer PE license. California PE registration. Experience working directly with municipalities regulatory agencies and contractors. Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software. Previous experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior staff.
