Project Engineer

Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: Contract, 12-24 months+
Start Date: ASAP
Pay range: $35-$45/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities:
Provides project management and technical support for projects or certain phases of projects including schedules, designs, estimates, engineering specifications, policies and procedures, drawings, materials procurement, contracts, cost tracking and project cost projections.
Coordinates the development of goals and work plans, defines responsibilities and assigns resources, then assures work performance with respect to project and business objectives.
Communicates with internal and external business partners to determine needs and measure satisfaction, understand current status, emphasize priorities, and obtain technical advice.
Conducts or contributes to engineering studies and investigations and recommends improvements to engineering processes.
Communicates results in oral and written reports.
Develops, revises and implements company standards and specifications, policies and procedures.
Provides engineering assistance to other departments and performs any additional tasks as requested or assigned.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
3+ years of engineering experience.
Experience with reviewing and understanding material test records, piping drawings, purchase order documentation, etc. would be very helpful
Effective oral and written communication skills and Organizational skills
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and/or projects concurrently.
Bonus skill:
Gas pipeline or meter station is a big plus.
