We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Project Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our construction projects to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality from conception to completion. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of construction methodologies, material science, and the latest technologies in the civil engineering space. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of construction project engineering experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee, develop, and manage all engineering aspects of construction projects.
2. Conduct on-site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
3. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure project feasibility and to optimize resource allocation.
4. Develop detailed project plans, including cost estimates, schedules, and resource requirements.
5. Implement risk management processes to mitigate project risks.
6. Utilize software for design, drafting, modeling, and project management.
7. Ensure project compliance with all industry standards, codes, and legal requirements.
8. Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex challenges.
9. Prepare and present technical reports summarizing project activities and investment returns.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders and provide updates on project progress, budget, and timeline.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project engineering.
3. Proven experience in project management and team supervision.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Exceptional understanding of construction management processes, means, and methods.
6. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
7. Proficient in design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
8. Excellent knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on attitude.
10. Excellent communication and project management skills.
11. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
