Technical Project Engineer - Data Center Construction
Location: New Carlisle, IN (South Bend area)
Length of Project: 14 months
Pay Rate: $55-75/hour with OT rate at $82.50-112.50/hour
Per Diem: For candidates outside 50-mile radius of site, @$4000 tax-free living expenses/month
Mobilization/Demobilization: Amount to be determined by the home base location of candidate

This role includes:Project Execution: Planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for data center construction project.
Participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing. Document Control in the Prolog database, material status reports, process requests for information, and manage meeting minutes
Resource Management: Manage project engineering, subcontractor planning, administration, and work assignments. Overall support of project schedules.
Risk Management: Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
Technical Support: Key technical person on projects. May be responsible for one or more small to medium sized projects.
Qualifications - 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of similar (data center) construction engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards
- Technical knowledge encompassing construction and engineering processes, procurement, project controls reporting, and contract management.
- Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Valid driver's license required.
