    Description

    Responsibilities:Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and Chief Engineerings policies.Effectively monitors and controls project progress, resource utilization, project financials, and provides updates on project statuses to the team.Applies project management skills on moderately complex projects or tasks, including understanding and communicating milestones, timelines, and project decisions to external stakeholders, internal stakeholders, and direct supervisor.Provides the timely documentation of clear project scope (i.e. detailed assumptions; internal, external, and regulatory requirements; objectives/targets; validation needs; resource estimates; costs; and timing).Performs construction quantity estimates and/or obtains bids, proposals, and quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors as needed for respective projects.Maintains relationships with customers, external subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors, and communicate changes to respective engineering designs to meet customer expectations and requirements including but not limited to: scope of work development for contractor bid, construction timelines, customer downtime windows, installation requirements, and equipment approval drawing red lines and mark-ups.Develop preliminary engineering designs and concepts for multi-disciplinary projects.Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering team and subconsultants. For 3D modeling projects, responsible for regularly reviewing the model with a focus on gauging the level of inter-discipline coordination.
