We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute their expertise to our innovative company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our manufacturing processes to new levels of efficiency and effectiveness, directly impacting our bottom line and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Leading and managing various manufacturing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting the predetermined quality standards.
2. Implementing and driving process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
3. Utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and defects.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
5. Providing technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team, ensuring all processes and equipment are operating at optimum levels.
6. Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
7. Conducting regular project reviews and updates to stakeholders, including management, team members, and other relevant parties.
8. Ensuring all manufacturing activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, and Project Management.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues effectively.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
8. Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Certification in Project Management or Six Sigma would be an added advantage.
