The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Superintendent in managementontheconstructionproject.HelpstheProjectManagerdirectand superviseactivitiesrelatedtocontractadministration,budget,andschedule.
Maintainsarelentlessfocusonmeetingandexceedingclientneedsand expectations.
 

DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Professionalcommunicationwithallpartiesinvolvedintheconstruction project.
  2. Assists in project budget.
  3. Assists in project schedule.
  4. Knowsandunderstandsprojectdocuments.
  5. Knows and understandsthe requirementsofowner’scontract,including bonds,fees,notifications,schedules,reporting,andinsurance.
  1. AssistsProjectManagerinmanaging thesubcontractingprocess and relationships with subcontractors.
  2. Assistsincoordinatingthescheduletoassuresubcontractorsandsuppliers are meeting project schedule.
  3. Effective communication with owner and owner representative to provide a positive construction experience to owners and users.
  4. Employseffectiveconflictresolutionandproblemsolvingstrategies.
  5. Buildsrelationshipswithclients,designteam,subcontractors,suppliers,and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the project expectations.
  6. Activelyparticipatesinindustry,client,andcommunityactivitiestoenhance company image.
  7. Helps prepare for and participates in proposals and interviews seeking potential new business opportunities.
  8. CoordinatesandcommunicateswithContractAdministratorandotherproject team support staff.
  9. Assistsinconductingandreportingofpre-installationmeetings.
  10. Bestationedonsiteormakeregularjobsitetripstocollaboratewiththejobsite superintendent.
  11. Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS:

    • Demonstratesexcellentcommunicationskills,bothwrittenandverbal.
    • Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the business.
    • Demonstrates management skills with ability and willingness to face challenges,solveproblems,andmotivateothers,whilemaintainingeffective relationships with clients by meeting or exceeding their requirements and expectations.
    • Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools, such as e-mail, internet, and Microsoft products (i.e. Word,Excel,Office),andschedulingandconstructionadministrationsoftware.
    • Demonstratesconflictresolutionandproblemsolvingskills.
    • Is Self-motivated, andhas good timemanagement skills

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’sDegreeinrelatedconstructionfield,orsimilarfieldexperience.
