DESCRIPTION:
As aProject Engineer Internat Becho, reporting to the Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:
Assistproject management and field teams with day-to-day project coordination and administrative activities.
Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, and other contract documents to build an understanding of project requirements.
Assistwith preparing, distributing, and tracking requests for information, submittals, and project correspondence.
Maintainaccurateproject logs, files, reports, meeting notes, and document-control records.
Support quantity takeoffs, production tracking, cost reporting, and material procurement activities.
Participate in project meetings, field walks, and coordination discussions with project stakeholders.
Assistwith schedule updates, short-term planning, and monitoring construction progress against project milestones.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field personnel under the direction of the project team.
Support quality-control documentation and help verify that work is performedin accordance withplans and specifications.
Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and assigned project documentation.
Maintain strict adherence to company quality and safety standards.
Performadditionalproject-related assignments and support post-job analysis as directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing abachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
Interest in geotechnical, foundation, excavation support, or heavy civil construction.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, or a demonstrated willingness to learn.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in office and active construction-site environments.
Commitment to following company safety requirements and wearing required personal protective equipment.
