We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineers to work for one of our clients. This role is pivotal in supporting our ongoing engineering projects and ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of project engineering including reading mechanical and plumbing plans, handling change orders, RFIs, submittals, and coordinating and ordering materials. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a thriving and innovative engineering firm.

Responsibilities:

1. Review, interpret, and apply mechanical and plumbing plans to ongoing projects.
2. Manage and execute change orders, RFIs, and submittals in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Coordinate and order materials required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and optimal cost-effectiveness.
4. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues and challenges.
6. Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with reading mechanical and plumbing plans.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
5. Experience in material coordination and ordering.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
7. Strong organizational and project management skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with a range of stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in relevant software applications and technology.
10. A commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and trends.
