Provide technical engineering support throughout the planning, design, cost estimating, risk assessment, schedule development, and pre-sanction stages of the project lifecycle for the Gas and Liquids Pipeline business units. Provide regular formal and informal project management reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders on assigned projects.
Provide technical engineering support throughout the planning, design, cost estimating, risk assessment, schedule development, and pre-sanction stages of the project lifecycle for the Gas and Liquids Pipeline business units.
Ensure appropriate stakeholder management and preliminary determination of regulatory requirements.
Complete front-end engineering and designs, cost estimates, and develop project execution strategies.
Develop realistic and reliable project schedules and cost estimates, defining risks, uncertainties, and likelihoods.
Create charters for Rough Order of Magnitude to Class 3 scope supported by estimates and schedules.
Provide regular formal and informal project management reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders on assigned projects.
Requirements:
Engineering degree.
0+ years of related experience in oil and gas engineering, operations, project management, and/or project development.
Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between all team members.
Project Management skills to prepare projects to move from development to sanction/execution.
Ability to work independently, self-prioritize, and handle changing priorities and work tasks.
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Up to 10% travel to company offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities.
Valid passport to travel and work between Canada and US.
