Project Engineer

Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Summary:

• Location: Horseheads, NY
• Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of capital projects, including scope development, layout reviews, and implementation activities.
• Develop, review, and update drawings using AutoCAD to support project planning and execution.
• Assist with coordination across disciplines related to plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP).
• Participate in site walks, equipment layouts, and installation planning.
• Support documentation, tracking, and reporting of capital project progress.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, contractors, and engineering resources to ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience supporting capital projects in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and project execution practices.
