Project Engineer

Expected Salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000, depending upon experience.

DESCRIPTION: As a Project Engineer at Becho Incorporated, you will have the opportunity to support the Project Manager in our Honolulu, HI, Project.

Responsibilities:

• Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests
• Track, review and process Change Orders
• Track, review and process Owner Payment Applications
• Track, review and process claims (if applicable)
• Monitor job costs
• Maintain accurate reports
• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports
• Analyze labor costs
• Complete quarterly profit project records
• Manage the preparation and executing of the Project closeout process
• Research and propose solutions to quality control issues
• Perform quantities take-offs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution
• Master degree, PE registration, estimating and/or CAD experience are all preferred but not required
• 3 or more years of construction experience in the civil or infrastructure sector
• Previous experience as a field engineer, project engineer or office engineer
