Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to work on heavy highway construction projects, where you will be a vital part of project planning, execution, and documentation. You will be part of a thriving, fast-paced environment that requires keen problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of heavy highway construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Preparing and submitting project documentation including plans, estimates, schedules, and reports.
4. Managing change orders and ensuring that all changes are accurately documented and communicated to all relevant parties.
5. Leading safety orientation sessions and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
6. Maintaining up-to-date photo documentation of project sites.
7. Participating in project meetings and providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
8. Conducting site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience with submittals, change orders, work planning, and project documentation.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead safety orientation sessions.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
7. Proficiency in using construction software and technology.
8. A strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of promoting safe work practices.
