Great organization that puts an emphasis on taking care of their employees.Job DescriptionEssential job functions include reading and understanding plans and specifications for projects bid, performing or directing performance of quantity takeoffs, performing or directing solicitations to vendors and subcontractors, generating costs of the project using estimating software, communicating rollout of project with Construction Manager & Superintendent, performing or directing generation of subcontracts and purchase orders for project, reviewing job cost information as it becomes available, and communicating with Project Managers and Construction Manager on a regular basis to ensure project issues/concerns are addressed.The Successful ApplicantQualifications include a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, prior Heavy/Highway or Site Development experience, knowledge of New Jersey construction methods, techniques and standards, excellent time management and organization skills, familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with the terms and conditions of Project Contracts, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to function and manage effectively as part of a team, self-starter highly motivated, computer knowledge, HCSS Heavy Bid and Heavy Job experience preferred, and Primavera P-6 experience preferred.What's on OfferEmployee benefits include a salary up to $100k + bonus, comprehensive medical, dental & vision, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, voluntary long- and short-term disability, voluntary supplemental life, 401K with discretionary employer match, flexible spending accounts, and employee assistance program.
