    Description

    A Fortune 500 company is seeking a Project Engineer to join its growing Land Development team. In this role, you will lead and coordinate technical activities across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Acting as the main point of contact for clients and agencies, you’ll also mentor junior staff and oversee day-to-day project execution.

    What You Will Do

    • Manage and coordinate project teams, including E.I.T.s, CAD designers/technicians, sub-consultants, and contractors.
    • Plan, schedule, and deliver the technical and financial aspects of land development projects.
    • Support construction phase services, including site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews, and pay applications.
    • Interpret and resolve technical issues with minimal oversight.
    • Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Maintain effective communication between disciplines, clients, and regulatory agencies.
    • Conduct all business in a professional, ethical manner while supporting company growth and goodwill.
    • Travel overnight when required.

    What You Will Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
    • 5+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development projects.
    • Active P.E. license (or ability to obtain in state of employment).
    • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring E.I.T.s.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite.
    • Experience preparing technical deliverables (work plans, contracts, summary reports, project correspondence).
    • Strong communication skills and ability to resolve technical challenges independently.
