Job Details

As a Project Engineer in the Construction industry, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and who is passionate about construction, engineering, and project management. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Tracking project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and design teams to ensure that all parties are aligned and working towards the same goals.
3. Supporting jobsite meetings and maintaining meeting minutes to ensure that all decisions and discussions are accurately recorded.
4. Reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability to ensure that all projects are feasible and can be successfully completed.
5. Assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and handed over to the relevant parties.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project engineering role.
2. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience with tracking project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities.
4. Strong coordination skills, with experience working with subcontractors, consultants, and design teams.
5. Experience supporting jobsite meetings and maintaining meeting minutes.
6. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
7. Experience assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover.
