Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

A respected commercial general contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is hiring a Project Engineer to support projects out of the Grapevine area. This is a great fit for someone early in their construction career who wants hands-on experience, solid mentorship and a clear path toward project management.

What You'll Do

• Manage RFIs, submittals and shop drawing reviews from start to finish
• Keep project documents, logs and drawings current and organized
• Help track budgets, change orders and buyout with the project manager
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and the field team to keep work on schedule
• Walk the jobsite regularly to check progress, quality and safety
• Support closeout, punch lists and owner turnover

What You Bring

• 1–4 years of experience with a commercial general contractor (internships count)
• Degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or a related field preferred
• Comfort with Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
