Job Description

Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and internal project teams to maintain project schedules. Track project progress, budgets, procurement activities, and material deliveries. Assist with change orders, cost tracking, meeting minutes, and project reporting. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Attend project meetings and assist in resolving technical issues and coordination challenges. Support quality control, site safety initiatives, and project closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant

Previous experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role within commercial construction. Knowledge of commercial construction processes, project sequencing, and construction documentation. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, clients, design teams, and field personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction project management software. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a genuine desire to develop within the construction industry. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
