Description

The Project Engineer will report to senior project leadership and play a critical role in supporting project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. This Project Engineer position offers significant exposure to operations, coordination, and client-facing activities.

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction projects
  • Manage project documentation, submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and drawing distribution
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to maintain schedules and project milestones
  • Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, procurement activities, and change management processes
  • Monitor project progress and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Support quality control, safety compliance, and project closeout activities
  • Participate in project meetings and provide accurate reporting on project status and deliverables

Profile

For the Project Engineer we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred
  • Experience supporting commercial construction projects as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role
  • Exposure to healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, education, restaurant, mission-critical, or commercial construction projects is desirable
  • Strong document control and project coordination experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software platforms
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
