Job Description

The Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Charleston will:

  • Effectively draft memos, reports and documents.
  • Support the project manager and the project team.
  • Work closely with other project engineers.
  • Write letters to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Communicate project requirements to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of change orders.
  • Review drawings for changes and clarifications.
  • Meet with members of the Owner's team to administer day-to-day activities such a planning access and preparing work plans and safe work plans.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

The Successful Applicant

The Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Charleston should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
