Description
- The Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager will support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers throughout the construction lifecycle, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Assist with project coordination from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
- Track project schedules and support procurement activities
- Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate reporting
- Support budget tracking and cost control initiatives
- Help ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Profile
- For the Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager, we are seeking:
- 1+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
- Experience supporting ground-up commercial projects
- Understanding of construction processes, documentation, and project controls
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Desire to build a long-term career in commercial construction
- Experience with mixed commercial projects preferred
- Candidates heavily focused on multifamily construction will not be a strong fit
- AVERAGE TENURE OF 3+ YEARS FOR EACH COMPANY
