Your impact

The Project Digital Delivery Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting the successful execution of digital delivery and BIM-related activities on assigned projects. This role works in partnership with the Project Manager, Design Manager, discipline leads, and Digital Delivery leadership to help ensure project-level digital delivery outcomes are achieved across quality, schedule, cost efficiency, risk management, and client requirements.

The Project Digital Delivery Lead supports alignment between contractual obligations, client expectations, regional requirements, and digital delivery standards. The role provides project-level leadership for digital delivery planning, execution, coordination, quality assurance, information management, technology adoption, and handover requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in design support, architecture/engineering, construction coordination, permitting, planning, or a related client-facing project environment. They should have strong Microsoft Office skills, experience with customer relationship or project tracking systems, exposure to AutoCAD/Revit, excellent communication skills, and experience coordinating with clients, jurisdictions, and multidisciplinary design teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Digital Delivery Planning & Mobilization

  • Define and confirm project digital delivery scope in alignment with contracts, proposals, execution plans, and client requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and execute project-specific Digital Delivery Plans, BIM Execution Plans, and related technical or execution plans.
  • Lead digital delivery kickoff activities and project mobilization.
  • Align digital delivery documentation with contractual requirements.
  • Obtain client agreement and signoff on digital delivery and BIM execution plans when required.

Digital Delivery Execution & Integration

  • Lead day-to-day digital delivery and BIM execution across project disciplines.
  • Coordinate digital delivery workflows between project management, design teams, construction teams, subconsultants, and other delivery partners.
  • Integrate digital delivery activities with schedule, cost, risk, change management, and project management frameworks.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve digital delivery issues affecting scope, schedule, cost, quality, or project outcomes.
  • Provide regular progress, risk, and resource updates to the Project Manager and Design Manager.
  • Support permitting, construction coordination, handover, and sustainability-related digital workflows where required.

Model Management, Coordination & Quality

  • Establish and facilitate cross-discipline model coordination processes.
  • Support multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution.
  • Provide oversight, integration, and quality assurance while discipline teams retain responsibility for model development and coordination within their scope.
  • Support and verify delivery of drawings, models, record models, as-builts, and asset information models in alignment with project requirements.
  • Support project and design leadership in digital delivery reviews and reporting.

Standards, Data & Information Management

  • Implement and support adherence to project digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, and information management standards.
  • Establish, manage, or support the project common data environment and collaboration platforms.
  • Define or support project-level file formats, data structures, naming conventions, and information security requirements.
  • Manage or coordinate milestone submission, archiving, record retention, and closeout processes as applicable.
  • Execute digital delivery in compliance with applicable information management standards, including ISO 19650 where required.

Tools, Technology & IT Coordination

  • Coordinate setup, configuration, and use of approved digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, and engineering software tools.
  • Serve as the project point of contact for digital delivery technology questions and dependencies.
  • Interface with IT as needed, without owning IT infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, workflow optimization, and improved digital processes.

Team Leadership, Capability & Training

  • Assess project team digital delivery capability and identify training or support needs.
  • Provide project-specific training, guidance, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate digital delivery staffing needs with project and discipline leadership.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.

Client Engagement & Proposal Support

  • Engage clients on project-specific digital delivery execution, reviews, deliverables, and quality expectations.
  • Provide digital delivery input to proposals and pursuits as needed.
  • Support alignment of digital delivery scope, execution approach, budgets, resource needs, and contract requirements.

Here's what you'll need

  • Experience leading or coordinating digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, or information management activities on engineering, design, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, Digital Delivery Plans, common data environments, model coordination, digital deliverables, and project information workflows.
  • Ability to coordinate across project management, design management, discipline teams, subconsultants, clients, and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting quality assurance for digital models, drawings, data, and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with project delivery requirements related to scope, schedule, cost, risk, change management, and contractual obligations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, issue resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ISO 19650 or other information management standards.
  • Experience supporting complex, multidisciplinary, or high-risk projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM, CAD, GIS, document control, asset information, and handover processes.
  • Experience with digital delivery tools, model review platforms, collaboration platforms, and automation workflows.
  • Prior experience in a BIM Manager, Information Manager, Digital Delivery Lead, BIM Coordinator, CAD/GIS Lead, or related role.

The base salary range for this position is $98,900.00 to $136,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
