Pay Range: $55 - $61/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project kick-offs and establish cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and priorities.
- Oversee development-phase activities, including permitting, estimating, engineering, and right-of-way acquisition.
- Manage multiple concurrent overhead transmission and substation projects through early planning to execution.
- Develop strategic schedules and execution plans while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Maintain detailed project financials and ensure costs remain within approved thresholds.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project sponsors, providing timely updates and facilitating communication.
- Conduct lessons-learned audits to drive process improvements across the team.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, business, finance, construction management, or a related technical field is required.
- In lieu of a degree, seven years of related experience or five years of transmission or distribution utility experience will be considered.
- A minimum of three years of related experience in project organization, engineering, finance, construction, project management, planning, or project controls is required.
- Four to eight years of experience in the transmission and distribution industry is highly preferred.
- Strong project management abilities and exceptional time management skills.
- A solid technical background in transmission, distribution, or utility infrastructure.
- Experience with project scheduling and management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to assigned project locations.
