Project Designer

Experience: 8+ years, licensure preferred

Education: Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program

At least 8 years of experience and a minimum of 4 completed projects. Coordinates project design independently, develops creative concepts, and prepares design development details.

Qualifications

• Licensure and sustainable design certification preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience and 4 completed projects of comparable scale
• Proven workflow leadership with strong design, planning, code, and zoning knowledge

Responsibilities

• Guide and coordinate architectural and interior design efforts with a holistic view of space, materials, systems, and budget
• Ensure established design intent is carried into detailed presentations and documentation
• Develop design tasks under Senior Project Designer supervision
• Monitor design consistency from concept through CA
• Prepare graphic materials, models, and studies for client/agency reviews
• Mentor less experienced staff and participate in interdisciplinary problem solving
• Work on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously

Skillsets

• Extensive experience in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Enscape, Bluebeam, and MS Office
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation skills
• Ability to translate complex programs into efficient, aesthetic architectural solutions within fees and schedules
• Strong knowledge of construction methodology, material selection, and building systems
