OHIP Project Coordinator Global Hotel Technology Migration & Implementation Support
Location: Chicago, IL (Local Preferred)
Duration: 6 Month Contract

Hyatt is seeking an OHIP Project Coordinator to support its Global Property Management team during the migration of hotels worldwide from legacy Oracle Hospitality integrations (OXI) to the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP) as part of the organization's Opera Cloud transformation initiative.
This role is heavily focused on implementation coordination, vendor management, project tracking, readiness activities, and stakeholder communication across global hotel deployments.
This is not a hands-on technical engineering role.
The ideal candidate will excel at coordinating implementation activities, managing vendor communications, tracking project deliverables, and ensuring hotels and partners are prepared for successful platform transitions.

What Hyatt Actually Needs
Hyatt is looking for a Project Coordinator who can manage vendor readiness, implementation timelines, communications, and deployment activities during a large-scale global migration from OXI integrations to OHIP and Opera Cloud.
The successful candidate will help keep projects moving by:

Core Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Deployment Support
  • Support implementation planning, deployment readiness, and execution activities
  • Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Monitor implementation progress and escalate risks when necessary
  • Ensure deployment activities remain on schedule

Vendor Management & Readiness
  • Coordinate responses to vendor questions and implementation concerns
  • Escalate issues impacting deployment schedules

Global Migration Support
  • Coordinate migration readiness reviews
  • Support implementation cutovers and transition activities
  • Help ensure hotels are prepared for system transitions

Stakeholder Communication
  • Facilitate project meetings, touch-base calls, and readiness reviews
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinate across hotel operations, technology teams, vendors, and business partners
  • Ensure clear ownership of actions and deliverables

Change Management & Adoption Support
  • Support user readiness and adoption activities
  • Assist with training coordination and deployment communications
  • Help document implementation processes and procedures
  • Track readiness metrics and implementation status

Required Experience
  • 3+ years of Project Coordination, PMO, Implementation Coordination, Deployment Coordination, or related experience
  • Experience supporting software implementations, migrations, or enterprise technology rollouts
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams
  • Strong vendor management and vendor communication experience
  • Experience tracking project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
