    Description

    Montgomery Consulting LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction and consulting projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and properly documented.
    This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction and consulting environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative and project coordination support throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project activities and documentation.
    • Prepare, organize, and maintain project files, contracts, schedules, reports, correspondence, and other records.
    • Coordinate communication among clients, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project team members.
    • Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
    • Assist with subcontractor coordination, purchase orders, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
    • Monitor project deadlines and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Assist with preparation of project status reports, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
    • Support project managers with estimating, proposals, procurement, and closeout activities as needed.
    • Maintain accurate logs and databases for project information, contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
    • Help coordinate project meetings, site visits, inspections, and other project-related activities.
    • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
    • Assist in identifying potential project issues and communicate concerns to project management.
    • Support final project closeout, including documentation, warranties, and records.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in construction, engineering, architecture, consulting, project administration, or a related industry preferred.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal personnel.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
    • Experience with construction project management software is a plus.
    • Ability to read and understand basic construction documents, plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
    • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
    • Professional, dependable, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive project and company information appropriately.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites when required.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with commercial or institutional construction projects.
    • Familiarity with project scheduling, cost tracking, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
    • Knowledge of construction industry terminology and processes.
    • Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, or government clients.
    • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar systems.
