Description

Our client, a AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Project Coordinator - Response & Recovery Training for their San Francisco, CA/ Las Vegas, NV location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • The Response & Recovery Training Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the planning, development, and execution of training programs for the Response & Recovery Team (RRT).
  • This role partners with Trainers, Training Supervisors, Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, and Project Managers to ensure training vehicles, personnel, and materials are ready and compliant across all RRT deployment locations.
  • The Coordinator also supports the onboarding of new Training Supervisors and leads periodic audits to maintain training quality and consistency.
  • Lead the development and implementation of select training materials for the Response & Recovery team. This includes working with SMEs, Instructional Designers, and Project Managers to align on course scope, phases, and implementation timelines. Report out on training development and implementation timelines.
  • Ensure proactive planning for Trainer allocation in locations to facilitate ILT modules, and submit travel requests for Trainers
  • Align with stakeholders to reserve vehicles for location-specific training and coordinate travel of training assets prior to training execution
  • Work with Training personnel in each RRT deployment location to ensure training completion, standardization, and compliance
  • Align with the RRT Training Program Manager to prioritize training needs and initiatives
  • Drive RRT Portfolio Management, ensuring that updates are made appropriately and content is audited at a specific cadence
  • Review training material prior to publication to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Train new Training Supervisors on the expectations and day-to-day tasks of their role, including shadowing Training Supervisors in their home location and providing guidance
  • Conduct bi-yearly audits of RRT Training Supervisors in their home location
 
Requirements:
  • Previous training facilitation, development, or management experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle or related operations field space
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Proven ability to problem solve and improve operational efficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues to support trainees
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • At least 6 months as a Trainer or other training role on the Response and Recovery Team
  • Strong knowledge of Response and Recovery Team procedures and responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace collaboration tools such as Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, and Forms
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems such as Docebo or Cornerstone
  • Experience working in learning authoring programs such as Articulate Rise or Storyline
  • Bachelors degree/management experience preferred
